Spain… a country known for cheaper fashion, especially in popular stores… in this new article we will look at the best places to shop in Barcelona.
1- La Roca Shopping Village
La roca shopping village is a big shopping center, but in the open air, like a “shopping zone” so to speak. La roca shopping village, located 5 minutes from Plaça Catalunya, contains high-end, luxurious shops. Between zadig&voltaire, ba&sh, guess… fashion lovers are sure to find exactly what they are looking for!
2- The Passeig de Gracía District
Take the metro line 2, the “purple line”, and stop at passeig de gracía. Walk a little bit…you will see first of all the famous Casa Batllò by Gaudí, but also the most luxurious shops we know: Versace, Gucci, Balenciaga, Rolex, Maje… I agree with you, we are not going to go shopping in this street like we would in the local shopping mall, but the windows of these department stores are so beautiful that they are worth seeing!
3- The Universitat District
Also using the metro line 2, but one stop further, get off at universitat and magically, all the popular shops will be there! One street away from Plaça Catalunya, you will find Zara, Bershka, Stradivarius, Mango, Sephora…and, good news, since all these brands are tax free, each item is 5 to 10€ cheaper than in the UK! A real treat for shopaholics! However, mates, don’t forget that these shops are part of Fast-fashion and that they pollute a lot, so don’t buy what you’re not sure you’ll wear, and recycle your old clothes!
4- Shopping centers
Finally, we don’t need to introduce them anymore… the shopping centers!
If you want to have all your favourite shops concentrated in one building, we strongly advise you to try the ones in Barcelona. Playgrounds for children, food and drinks, what more could you want?
